The month of October not only heralds the festive fervor and cultural gaiety attached to the celebration of Durga Puja and Dusshera. Apart from bringing joy and enthusiasm, Dussehra also reinforces the belief that “Good triumphs over evil”. All the festivals have been celebrated with the whole and sole aim of imbibing secularism and brotherhood among our little ones. This month also struck a key note as it paid a tribute to the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Children were told about his great contribution in the freedom movement of India.
We are now fully charged to welcome the month of November, the chilling winds bringing in a lot of excitement and happiness. The month of November commemorates Children’s Day, which is enjoyed by every Indian child. Guru Purab will also be celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm, devotion, excitement & fun. The theme for the month is ‘Plants and Flowers’ and ‘Living and Non – Living’. An introduction to plant life will be given to the children through ‘Nature Walk’ to create awareness about the environment around us. Children will be taught about the various types of plants& flowers. They will be familiarized with the Germination of plants and how they help other living organisms on the earth. Our little ones will be able to distinguish between Living & Non- Living things.
The forth coming activities for the month are:-
*Competition- Diya Decoration
*Activity- Germination of seeds
*Guru Nanak Birthday Celebration
Parents are requested to follow the dates in the fortnightly planner, providing guidelines to carry on our activities smoothly.
