Assembly Report- Radhakrishnan House
The assembly was put up on the 11th of November 2016. The topic of the assembly was Children’s Day &Gurupurab(celebration of the birth of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak), both of which are celebrated on the 14th of November. The assembly was jointly conducted with Vivekananda House. Our assembly had the thought for the day, the news, and a speech educating the students on the most sacred festival in Sikhism. The assembly had a musical performance and was concluded by the PanjPyare, stages or steps in spiritual development. Prasad (a religious offering) was distributed amongst everyone.
“The assembly was a nice effort to enlighten the students and highlight the importance of the sacred Sikh festival, Gurupurab. It was a simple & thoughtful assembly, having the PanjPyareat the end was a beautiful touch.”
