ASSEMBLYBLY REPORT ON CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS
CLASS – I D
On 29th February 2016 Class I D presented an assembly on ‘Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness ’.
‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’ is a famous proverb which means maintenance of cleanliness leads a person towards goodness.
As the entire class joyously presented the morning assembly on this topic, they reiterated the fact that cleanliness is a habit, that leads us towards goodness in every walk of life by keeping our body, mind and soul clean and peaceful.
Our main objective in conducting such an assembly, was to instil the importance of cleanliness in our daily lives and how children can integrate the same in their everyday life.
The assembly started with a morning prayer followed by the news headlines and an apt thought for the day –“When your environment is clean, you feel happymotivated and healthy”.
With cleanliness drive all over the country, the students shared an inspiring message “Be the change you want to see in the world”- M.K. Gandhi.
Students also shared their views on maintaining cleanliness around us to make our country a cleaner India by stop littering, sorting garbage into two categories- biodegradable and non-biodegradable and disposing garbage properly. They also talked about personal hygiene habits that we all should follow regularly. They requested their friends to stop the use of plastic bags and instead use paper bags or fabric bags.They sang the song – HaathSaafKarenge…..
The students of I D requested the other students to join hands and work to keep our house, our school and our country clean and green and make the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan started by our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi successful.
The assembly was concluded with the national anthem.
