On May 8, 2019 Class XII F got the splendid opportunity to express their views while presenting the Morning Assembly on the topic GEOGRAPHICAL PERSPECTIVE ON WORLD ISSUES/ WORLD THALASSEMIA DAY/ RED CROSS DAY under the constant mentorship of the Principal, DrNeeruSuman. The students reflected upon the much required contemporary environmental and health issues.
The day started with a small introduction hereby setting up the background and giving the audience a glimpse of the topic. It was followed by a news session where students updated the gathering with National, International and Sports happenings around the globe.
A warm poem, composed by a Thalassemia patient was recited, giving students an idea about the problems faced by them
A small nukkadnaatak was also presented by the Class focussing on multiple issues such as sanitation,
pollution, over population etc.
The Assembly concluded on an optimistic note with an insightful thought marking the end.
Principal Ma’am lauded the hard work of the students and motivated them to be aware of the serious world issues such as population problems, poverty, quality of life, urban problems, food, conflict and war, the energy crisis, air pollution, water pollution, land degradation, bio-diversity, and the problem of waste etc. The issue is more serious than people can even imagine, we should act all together as soon as possible. Each individual needs to give maximum effort that is the only way to save our planet for the next generations. Definitely it is not still too late!!!
