NEWS LETTER PRE-PRIMARY
“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.”
― Oprah Winfrey
January means New Year and New Year means new dreams, new resolutions and new beginnings. New Year provides us opportunities to move further with new missions and new hopes.
The beginning of the year starts with the celebration of Lohri and Makar Sankranti followed by Republic Day. It is a day to remember when India’s constitution came into force on January 26, 1950, completing the country’s transition towards becoming an independent republic .It is one of three national holidays in India which is celebrated across the country through parades and other cultural programmes. Our little ones will honour this important day by making Tri –colour bands.
Studies show that kids whose parents are involved in their studies have better grades, a better attitude towards school and more appropriate school behavior than those with less involved parents. Getting involved in your child’s studies can be as simple as talking to your child about school and friends. Your involvement could also include:-
- Providing your child with a good place to study- away from distractions like TV, video games, phone or loud music.
- Taking your child on trips, playing games together and visiting the local library.
- Reading to your child or make him read to you everyday.
Activities for this month –
- English Recitation Competition
- Republic Day Celebration
- Activity- Pasting fruits in the basket
Let us put our best efforts to make the teaching learning process truly meaningful and enjoyable for our children.
WISHING YOU A VERY HAPPY AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
