“If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference. They are the father, the mother and the teacher.”
-A.P.J Abdul Kalam
The month of January brought back the memories of Republic Day. The patriotic passion of the people in India on this day gathers the entire nation together even with the embedded diversity. It also evoked a sense of patriotism in the minds of our children and made them feel proud to be the citizens of a Republic. February is the month where bleak winter magically blossoms into a splendid spring. By now our little ones are already aware of the various seasons.
The months of February and March bring with them a host of fun filled and interesting activities that will stimulate exploration and learning. Various topics done so far will be recapitulated so that the children can internalize the concepts.
There are no formal examinations but regular and continuous assessments are being carried out by the teachers to support learning during the learning process. Children will be graded on the basis of their academic and social-emotional skills which will give an overview of the development of the child.
We will also be celebrating Meet the Principal Day (Alice in Wonderland) with full participation. Class farewell party will be organized too.
A list of fun filled activities for the month of February and March are:-
- Competition-Free Hand Drawing
- Open House
- An Outing-Old Fort
- Role play on Helpers
- Activity-Making of Smiley face
- Competition-Hindi Writing
- Farewell party
- Meet The Principal Day
As we are nearing the end of the academic session 2015-2016, we wish to reiterate our gratitude to each parent for being so cooperative and supportive throughout. We had a wonderful association with the children and we wish them all the best for their bright future.
Our children are moving towards formal education so to make the journey comfortable and smooth, the parents and school must work together. They are going to be subjected to the following changes:-
- School timings for Class I-8:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Change of school uniform.
