“Great discoveries and improvements involve the cooperation of many minds”

Christmas is celebrated with great festivity in the month of December. January means New Year and the New Year ushers in new dreams, resolutions and beginnings. The New Year also reminds us to fulfill all our incomplete dreams and provides us the opportunity to move further with a new hope.
Before we proceed with our new year’s agenda let us have a quick recap of the activities of the previous month. The month of December was a complete roller coaster ride for our young ones as they celebrated their favourite festival Christmas, with great enthusiasm and joy. The children made Christmas cards, decorated Christmas trees and bells. They had a gala Christmas Party on 24th December, 2014. Apart from this we had an interesting activity -Drawing of a Pet in which children participated enthusiastically. English Writing Competition was also held in a very healthy and competitive spirit where the handwriting of students was judged on the basis of formation, neatness and presentation.
We are now fully charged to welcome the month of January. Republic Day, which is on 26th January, is the highlight of the month. Teachers will explain the significance of this day when the Constitution of India came into force declaring the country a truly sovereign state. Lohri will also be celebrated in the month of January. English Recitation Competition will be conducted to encourage the children recite poems with correct pronunciation and voice modulation. An activity of pasting Fruits in a Basket will be planned for our little angels. An outing to the Gurudwara will also be arranged for the children of Pre-Primary.
We are in the process of making the next generation. Our main motto in this New Year is to inculcate good values and to develop social and language skills in our children. This vital task takes time, patience and understanding. The School gives full attention to this essential aspect but without your close proactive cooperation on this front our endeavour will not bring the best results. Good behavior and values evolve with time.
