NEWS LETTER PRE – PRIMARY
“Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence”
Wow! We just can’t resist the beginning of September. The months have flown by so fast. However, in these quick passing months, our children have grown and matured. Now they are little taller and five months smarter to the lead. It’s easy to distinguish how much they have learnt in a short span of time. We feel privileged to put across that we are proud of our children and their individual achievements.
The month of August brought back the memories of our struggle for Independence once again. On Independence Day, our school was steeped with colours of nationalism and patriotism. Children made tri-coloured flags and kites.
The theme for the month of September is “Food and Clothes”. ‘Health is wealth’ is an old proverb which still holds good. A special emphasis will be laid on avoiding junk food and eating healthy food. The children will learn about the different kinds of clothes that are worn in different seasons.
Teachers’ day is celebrated every year to pay tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. It is celebrated on 5th September in India as it is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was a well known diplomat, scholar, the president of India and above all, a teacher. When some of his students and friends approached him and requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday, he said that instead of celebrating his birthday separately, it would be his proud privilege , if 5th September is observed as Teachers’ Day. To show their love respect to the teachers, children of Pre Primary made beautiful cards for them.
The following activities will be conducted for the students of Pre-Primary in month of September.
- Making Fish with Paper Plate
- Activity-With Black and White Cards
- Competition- Fun with Mathematical Concepts
- OUTING-Qutub Minar
Open House -Please note that the Open House has been rescheduled. Now the Open House will be held on 24th September, 2016 instead of 10th September, 2016.
Report Card of the First Term will be handed over to the parents on 24th September, 2016.
Children are deeply influenced by their parents and there is no more important influence how children develop, than their parents. Your words and actions as a parent affect their developing self-esteem more than anything else. Praising accomplishments, however small, will make them feel proud. Let kids do things independently, it will make them feel capable and strong.
Looking forward to an effective interaction in future.
