“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
– Mahatma Gandhi
The month of November was very special for the school as we celebrated the diamond jubilee of our 60 year old school. Children from Pre – Primary also participated in the event. The function was a big success and appreciated by everyone
December, the last month of the year brings with it a lovely weather in which one likes to sit out and enjoy the sun. But at the same time, one gets exposed to cold winds, so please ensure your child comes to school properly dressed in the winter uniform.
India is a vast country with different cultures and rich traditions. And to keep these traditions alive we celebrate festivals. These festivals bring us closer to different communities and cultures and we learn to appreciate them. They imbibe in us feelings of secularism and brotherhood. Christmas is also one of the festivals which is celebrated all over India. Gifts are exchanged and Christmas Carols are sung. There is a feeling of festivity all around us. Our tiny tots will not be left behind. They will make cards; decorate Christmas tree and welcome Santa Claus. They will also have a party to say good bye to year 2013 and welcome year 2014 with open arms. To imbibe in them the sportsman spirit a ‘Cricket match’ will be organized too.
Our Forth coming activities for the month are:-
- An outing to Bal Bhawan
- Activity – Inter Class Cricket Match
- Competition – Christmas tree decoration
- Christmas and New year party
On a happy note, we bid adieu to 2013 and look forward to welcome a rocking and cheerful 2014.
WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
