OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWS LETTER: PRE-SCHOOL (FEBRUARY-2016)
“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
- Albert Einstein
Children are very keen observers and learn many habits by imitating their parents. To teach our kids good habits, we should demonstrate through our own behavior and not just give instructions and expect them to follow.
After the long winter vacation we began our new year with a new value education theme for the month of January – Do Not Waste Paper. For the year’s first Kiddies Kitchenette, our little chefs learnt to prepare Channa Chaat. In the Science Experience – Germination of Seeds the children witnessed seeds grow into baby plants. The outing to the Zoo had to be postponed due to cold weather. The Show and Tell Activity with the theme of “Away with Pollution. encouraged our little ones to be responsible towards the environment. On 25th January, we took the opportunity to instill a spirit of patriotism in our bundles of joy and celebrated Republic Day with them. Our children also participated in the Fun with Letters competition.
February has a lot of more fun in store for us all. Value education for the month will teach our kids to “Take Care of Your Environment.” In Kiddies Kitchenette the children will make a delicious Sprout Salad. A spirit of competition and creativity will be encouraged in the Origami Competition. The Show and Tell on Electronic Appliances will help our children learn to speak confidently and also widen their horizons. Our Science Experience for February will allow the children to have “Fun with Water.” We will also be organizing a “Meet the Principal Day” so that we can all get together and watch our children perform confidently on stage.
An Open House is planned for 6th February and we look forward to seeing you there.
