OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWSLETTER:PRE SCHOOL- FEBRUARY- 2015
“Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression”
We all nurse the desire to see our child grow up into a hardworking and responsible adult who is focused to achieve success in life. We should make our child realize the importance and develop a respect for hard work in small ways right from the beginning.
The month of January was dotted with a number of activities and special occasions. In ‘Show and Tell’ the children spoke about ‘Away with Pollution’. Making a ‘Sprout Salad’ in ‘Kiddies Kitchenette’ was an activity thoroughly enjoyed by our little gems. ‘Republic Day’ was marked by understanding the significance of the day, singing patriotic songs and decorating a tri-coloured bird. In ‘Science Experience’ the children observed seeds germinate into baby plants. A handwriting competition – ‘Fun with Letters’ was organized. An outing to the ‘Zoo’ was a thrilling experience for the children.
A plethora of activities have been planned for our Pre-Schoolers during the month of February. In the ‘Science Experience-Fun with Water’ the children will be fascinated to see the different shapes and colours that water can take on. In ‘Kiddies Kitchenette’ our little chefs will prepare a ‘Channa Chaat’ which will tingle their taste buds. To help our scholars develop their fine and gross motor skills a competition in ‘Origami’ (paper folding) will be held. In ‘Show and Tell’ our little ones will speak on ‘Electronic Appliances’ to inculcate an awareness of the advantages and usage of electrical devices in our day to day life. Keeping our environment in which we live and work clean is a great concern. In ‘Value Education’ the children will be taught to take care of the environment.
We look forward to your continued support and cooperation as the academic year comes to a close.
With warm regards.
