OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWSLETTER: PRE-SCHOOL – MARCH -2016
“There is always one moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in.”
Children cooperate in school because they know that is expected of them. They follow essentially the same routine day after day and so they quickly learn what they are supposed to be doing. After a while reminding is barely needed. While it might be difficult to have the same level of structure at home but the more consistent you are, the more cooperative your child is likely to be. Decide on a few routines and stick to them: Everyone gets dressed before breakfast, When we come in from outside, we wash our hands, No bedtime stories until all kids have brushed their teeth. Eventually, following these “house rules” will become a second nature to your child and he will blossom into a fine person.
As we are near the end of the Academic Session 2015-2016 our Pre-Schoolers are ready to glide smoothly into the Pre-Primary class. We must uphold their achievements and help in their smooth and successful transition to the next level. The Pre-School phase was exhilarating and enriching. We hope their future unravels more cheer, joy and knowledge for them to imbibe.
The theme for the month of February was ‘Plants And Flowers’. The children were familiarized with the different types of plants and flowers. They also spoke about ‘Electronic Appliances’ and their uses in ‘Show and Tell’. Making a ‘Sprout Salad’ was another activity thoroughly enjoyed by our tiny tots. The little ones were fascinated to see the different shapes and colours that water can take on in the activity ‘Fun With Water’ in ‘Science Experience’. They also participated confidently in the ‘Origami’ competition to showcase their creativity. In ‘Value Education’ the children were taught to take care of the environment. An outing to the zoo was a thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening experience for the little ones.
The month of March will have some more interesting activities. A ‘Memory Game’ will be conducted to test the I.Q. of our little masters. An art competition ‘Fun With Colours’ will be organized. There will also be an outing to the ‘Deer Park’. A funfilled ‘Meet The Principal Day’ will mark the end of this academic session. The final Report Card will also be given to the children.
We, the teachers of Pre-school have had a magnificent and successful year with our children and we wish them all success for the new Academic Session: 2016-2017.
On this note we bid adieu and thank you for your constant support and co-operation.
With warm regards.
