OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWS LETTER: PRE-SCHOOL (MAY-2016)
“Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.”
Our Pre-Schoolers are settling into their new classes and enjoying the journey of learning with their teachers.
We would like to give parents a few tips to be kept in mind while dealing with their children. Setting limits helps childrento develop a sense of self-control. Encouraging independence helps them develop a sense of self-direction. To be successful in life, our children will have to be independent and self controlled.
April had lots of surprises in store for our little bundles of joy.Fresh lemonade was made by our little chefs in the ‘Lemonade Party’ in ‘Kiddies Kitchenette’. The children thoroughly enjoyed the Science experience on ‘Fun with Air’.They were fascinated to see balloons becoming big when air was blown into them. The outing to the ‘Dolls Museum’ had to be cancelled because of the hot weather. The teachers met all the parents in the ‘Open House’ and shared updates on thechildrens’ progress.
The month of May promises to be even more fun with lots of interesting activities! The children will get a chance to participate in a “Vegetable Printing Competition” and showcase their creative instincts. In the ‘Show and Tell’ activity the children will speak few lines on ‘Myself’. An ‘Ice Cream Party’ will be the perfect summertime treat to our kids.
We request parents to encourage children to speak in English at home. Please encourage the children to form simple sentences in English.Help the children to enhance their vocabulary by conversing with them in English and by reading simple story books to them.
Summer vacations will begin from the 16th of May 2016. We wish our tiny tots an amazing summer holiday filled with lots of fun.
We look forward to your involvement and cooperation throughout the rest of the academic year.
With warm regards.
