OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWSLETTER : PRE-SCHOOL – NOVEMBER 2015
“While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.’’
No child is born with an understanding of why it is important to share, love and respect the people in his life. The social behavior of parents plays a key role in this. What example parents set for their child will determine his social conduct. We must set an example of right behavior from our own life while dealing with all kinds of relationships may it be friends, neighbours, relatives or our colleagues. Children absorb from what they see and not from what they listen. Be loving, caring and giving in your attitude to make your child develop these attributes.
The onset of October heralded the festive fervour and cultural gaiety attached to the celebration of Durga Puja and Dussehra . These festivals were celebrated to inculcate the spirit of secularism and brotherhood among our little ones. Our little ones enthusiastically made puppets of Ravana to celebrate Dussehra. The story of Ramayana was also narrated to emphasize and make them comprehend that good always prevails over evil. The children relished preparing `Bhelpuri’ in` Kiddies Kitchenette’. They participated with great zest in the competition `Fun with Numbers’. A `Show and Tell’ activity on `My Favorite Animal’ was organized to enhance confidence and develop oratory skills in the children. Value Education on `Care forAnimals ’ was imparted to make the children understand the importance of living beings and inculcate the value of caring.
The fine fabric of Indian culture and tradition is adorned by numerous festivals that are celebrated with zest and joy. The month of November ushers in the festive season and our Pre-School will also participate in these festivities. The children will decorate the class with diyas to celebrate Diwali . The importance and relevance of the message of `Say No To Crackers’ will also be explained on this occassion. In `Kiddies Kitchenette’ our little chefs will exhibit their expertise in making a `Corn Salad’. On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purab , the children will be made aware of Guru Nanak Dev ji and his teachings. `Kada Prashad’ as an offering will also be distributed to the children. A `Fancy Dress Competition’ will be organized to build confidence and vocabulary. Our tiny tots will exhibit their dancing skills in a `Talent Show’. They will dance to their favourite numbers in colourful costumes. `The Life of a Butterfly’ will be explained as a part of `Science Experience. A `Show and Tell’ activity on `What I want to Be’ will also be conducted.` Value Education’ on the topic `Help to Others’ will be imparted. An outing to `Aeroplanet’ is also being planned for the children.
