OUR BLOOMING BUDS
NEWS LETTER: PRE-SCHOOL (SEPTEMBER-2016)
“A child is a beam of sunlight from the Infinite and Eternal, with possibilities of virtue and vice, but as yet unstained.”
— Lyman Abbott, American Congregationalist minister
The tricolor fluttered in all its glory inspiring all of us to take pride in our country’s achievementsand also nurture in our young children the spirit of unity and patriotism motivating them to strive for excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activities
During the month of August we celebrated festivals like Independence Day Janmashtami and RakshaBandhan. The children prepared tri-coloured sandwiches in ‘Kiddies Kitchenette’. A ‘Tearing and PastingCompetition’ was also held. The children confidently torecoloured paper into small pieces and stuck them in the outline of an ice-cream. Enough practice was given for the same in the class. In ‘Science Experience’ they did ‘Invisible Drawing’ and were surprised to see different shapes appear magically as the sheet was painted.
As September approaches our children are all geared up to face academic challenges and the multitude activities planned for them with full vigour and enthusiasm. The children will embark upon new adventures in the world of learning .We hope to make learning an enjoyable experience for them. It is our endeavour to ensure that the students have fun through various engaging and enthralling activities both inside and outside the classroom.
The theme for the month of September will be ‘Transport’. All our curricular and co-curricular activities will revolve around the theme. In ‘Show and Tell’ ourPre- schoolers will speak a few lines with a self – introduction on ‘Traffic Rules and Me’. An outing to the ‘Railway Museum’is also planned. In the‘Hindi Recitation Competition’ our toddlers will learn a Hindi rhyme and recite it with actions in the class.
The children will prepare a‘Monaco Biscuit Snack’ in ‘KiddiesKitchenette’ to develop their culinary skills. In Science Experience the children will see objects appear big through Magnifying Glass in‘Magnifying Glass Fun’ .‘Teachers Day’ will be celebrated by making cards in the class for their teachers. An ‘Open House’ is scheduled for 10th September, 2016.
