Students of class III Econducted the morning assembly on 06.10.2016onthetopic Value of discipline in ourlife. The assembly started with the Morning Prayer followed by the news headlines and the thought for the day. Students quoted abeautiful thought by Dalai Lama stating that “A disciplined mind leads to happiness but an undisciplined mind to suffering and misery.”
They made their fellow friends aware that the term ‘Discipline’ means ‘according to rules. The term discipline therefore, means that all our actions should be done in perfect accordance with certain rules laid down for guiding us in the right path. They told the audience that even the universe rests on discipline. The planets do not collide with one another but move along their orbits according to rules. Life of animals is also a model of disciplined living. The ants move in straight lines with a single-minded attention, the bees work as a team. Discipline, therefore, is a basic necessity of life.
Through a skitstudents acquainted the audience with the importance of discipline in our daily life. They told thatthe proper growth of a person is impossible if there is no discipline in it and discipline should be maintained in every walk of life be it home, school or at work
The assembly wrapped up withZumba fitness workout followed by the National Anthem.
