Real- World applications: Students will see how geometry is used in real- world scenarios, such as architecture, engineering, art and design.
Spatial Reasoning: Students will develop the spatial reasoning skills by visualizing and manipulating geometry shapes in a city setting.
An activity for math week was organized for class 9. The topic for the activity was GEOMETRY CITY. In this activity the students had to prepare a model of a city on geometric shapes. 3 students from each section participated in the activity. Students get two hours of time to prepare their model. Students prepared very beautiful models and they presented these models very well. Students were very happy to see their creativity. It was a team activity which helped the students to share their ideas and also to develop the team spirit.
