REPORT OF THANKS GIVING ASSEMBLY
On 30th January’2020, the Student Council 2019-2020, presented a Thanks Giving assembly.
The assembly began with the sarvdharma prayer. The gathering observed two minutes of silence to commemorate the Martyr’s Day.
This was followed by the thought for the day – “It doesn’t matter how deep you fall , what matters is how high you bounce back.” and the news headlines.
The anchors began the proceedings by thanking the Principal Ma’am, Primary In Charge Ma’am, their parents, teachers and their alma mater for playing a fundamental role in their lives.
The participants spoke thought provoking quotes on teachers. They highlighted that teachers not only impart knowledge about a subject but also teach the lessons of life. Furthermore the students appreciated the genuine love, encouragement and persistence shown by the teachers. They eulogised the gratitude they felt towards their teachers.
The highlight of the assembly was a hilarious skit on the challenges faced by the educators. The fun filled sketch based on various types of students was so tongue in cheek and was highly appreciated by the audience.The resounding applause certified that their performance was a winner through and through.
The amazing capella, ‘Teachers see the good inside me’ by the appointees was the cherry on the cake.The heart melting words, sung liltingly, left an everlasting impact on the audience
The Head Boy AbhinavJha and the Head Girl Ruchika Himmatramka shared their interesting experiences of being at the helm. Both of themcredited the Primary Incharge Ms. S Dhingra and the teachers for guiding them through the challenges faced by them. They also thanked the institution for all the opportunities bestowed on them.
The Student Council dedicated a soulful prayer ‘PoojniyePrabhoHamareBhagUjwalKijeye’ to their teachers. The verses mentioned that one must resolve to adhere to their moral compass in face of challenges.
The Primary In charge Ms S. Dhingra was presented an attractive handmade card by the Head Boy and the Head Girl on behalf of the Student Council . The Primary Incharge, in her address, spoke about the marked change in the confidence and self assured behaviour of the Student Council members. She exhorted the students to aspire for leading roles in life and strive to better themselves each day. She acknowledged that the appointees had performed their duties with politeness and zeal. In the end she blessed the Student Council. The assembly concluded with singing of the National Anthem.
