CBSE in association with National Progressive School Conference organized a webinar on 6 MAY,2021 to explain the policy on “ELUCIDATING THE ASSESSMENT CRITERIA-CLASS X” in detail. The Webinar was attended by the Result Committee members Class X of Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi under the Supervision of Respected Principal Dr.Neeru Suman Ma’am.
The focus of the Webinar was to describe the policy, clarify the doubts and answer the queries of the members of the result committee-class X. Shri Manoj Ahuja, IAS, Chairman, CBSE stated that the objective of the policy is to develop an unbiased and transparent academic record based on realistic evaluation of academic performance of students. He added that in order to make sure that the assessment is fair, valid and reliable, school leaders and teachers should ensure that the evaluation process as laid out is clearly understood by all stakeholders.
Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examination, CBSE delivered a very assuring and motivational presentation on the Procedure for Assessment of Students, Constitution of the Result Committee, Assessment Standardization and other Important issues. The elaborate document insisted on a child centric evaluation based on trust and flexibility.
The Webinar was very informative and will be benefitting the teaching fraternity in conducting a fair assessment.
