40th ARYABHATTA INTER-SCHOOL MATHEMATICS COMPETITION: 2023

Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition was initiated by Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi in 1982 with the aim of exploring and sharpening the minds of young Mathematicians. Students from various prestigious and prominent schools participate enthusiastically. A wide participation and over whelming response by the schools has made this competition as one of the most sought-after competition in Mathematics. The main objective of this competition is to cultivate positive and scientific approach towards Mathematics and to strengthen the mathematical capabilities of the next generation of problem solvers. This competition helps to identify talent and foster a love of mathematics. Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition positively impacts the analytical skills needed for future careers in an innovative and competitive society.

This is to inform you that the much awaited 40th Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition only for Class V, Class VIII & Class XI will be held on Saturday, 14th January, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Students of Class V, Class VIII & Class XI are eligible to participate in this Competition. The schools have to register online on the URL summerfields.co.in/aryabhatta/ by the school ID (CBSE / Board Affiliation Number). The individual participants can register through their Mobile number and Email Id.

After the registration, the schools / Individuals have to enter the details of the participants online and an entry fee of 250/- per candidate is to be paid after the submission of the entries, through the Payment Gateway to complete the registration. The last date for completing the registration process including the payment of entry fee is 23rd December, 2022.

• Trophy (rolling) and a cash Prize of 21000/- to the school scoring highest average percentage of all ten students (for Class V, Class VIII & Class XI each).
• Runners up Trophy (rolling) to the school scoring 2nd highest average percentage of all ten students (for Class V, Class VIII & Class XI each).

Individual Prizes (for Class-V, Class-VIII & Class-XI each):

• 1st Prize : Scholarship of 25000/- & Memento
• 2nd Prize : Scholarship of 15000/- & Memento
• 3rd Prize : Scholarship of 10000 & Memento
• Consolation Prizes : Scholarship of 5000/- & Memento to each of the next 3 students in the Merit List
• 75% & above : Certificate of Merit & Memento
• 65% & above : Certificate of Merit
