School Excursion

Visit To Nehru Park & Eternal Gandhi Museum Classe IX to XII

Class IX and X students were taken on an educative and insightful trip to Nehru Park and Gandhi Museum organised by NIE, The Times of India. The trip for class IX was schedule on 30 April 2024 and for class X it was on 08 May 2024 respectively. The students of XII visited the museum on 9 May 2024, followed by Class XI on 10 May 2024. The trip to the museum was a blend of recreation and infotainment for the students. The museum boasted a plethora of original relics, books, journals and documents, photographs, audio-, visual material exhibitions, art and craft. The journey of Gandhi Ji’s life was depicted using pictures. The students were imparted teachings of unity, non-violence and truthfulness which were the key principles of Gandhiji’s life.

Mother Dairy Plant

The educational visit to the Mother Dairy Plant was an enriching experience, providing the students with practical knowledge and insights into the milk processing industry. We learned about the importance of quality control, adulteration detection, and the history of Mother Dairy. This visit has sparked our interest in the dairy industry and its significance in our daily lives.
 
We thank the management and staff of Mother Dairy Plant for their hospitality and for sharing their expertise with us. We appreciate the efforts of our respected Principal Ma’am and teachers in organizing this educational visit. It was truly a great learning experience.

Jim Corbett & Nainital (Class VI-VIII)

A 2night/3day long school trip to Corbett and Nainital was organised for the classes VI- VIII by Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony from May 27th to 29th, 2024. It was a delightful experience for everyone involved. A group of 91 students from classes VI-VIII accompanied by 9 teachers stayed at the Green Retreat Resort, surrounded by loaded Litchi orchards on one side and mango on the other, in Ramnagar.
The trip commenced with a visit to Corbett Museum, followed by a trek to the pristine Kosi River. At night, DJ night was organised for the students and they enjoyed dancing on their favourite songs. 

Nie Excursion To Dr. Apj Abdul Kalam Memorial Class VIII

In order to pay homage to the great and inspirational Indian leader, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Summer Fields School, Kailash colony in collaboration with ‘Times  NIE’ organised a trip to ‘ DR. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial’ on 31st July 2024. Based on the philosophy and life of Honourable former 11th President of India, Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the ‘Kalam Memorial’ has been set up at Dilli Haat, INA, New Delhi. The memorial opened its doors to the general public after the inauguration by the Honourable  Chief Minister of Delhi on July 30th 2016.
 
The aim of the excursion was to keep the legacy of the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam alive in the heart of every student. The students gained an insight into the life history of the renowned leader. The memorial inspired the young minds and encouraged them to chase their dreams. The students enjoyed a hands-on experience as they could see the personal belongings , including books, spectacles, pens, clothes, writing pads and audio visual materials of our Late President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. These belongings ignited a spark of innovation among the young learners.
 

Excursion to National Science Centre (Class V)

An excursion was organised  for Class V to the National Science Centre on May 3, 2024 in collaboration with HT PACE (Hindustan Times) with the agenda to encourage and inculcate the habit of learning through reading and exploring. The visit was very fascinating wherein the evolution of science was shown from ancient times to the modern times. The interactive exhibits explained complex scientific concepts in a simple and engaging manner. From the displays on space exploration to the interactive sections, there was something for everyone, regardless of age or background. The museum effectively conveyed the wonders of science and technology, sparking curiosity and inspiring visitors to explore the world around them. Overall, it was an enriching and educational experience that left a lasting impression.

Excursion To Kidzania For Class I-II

Kidzania aims to provide hands-on experiences for children to explore various professions in a fun and educational environment. The children embraced their chosen roles with enthusiasm. This trip provided a tangible link between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The children thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and their excitement was palpable throughout the day.They relished the delicious snacks and also grooved to the tunes of their favourite songs.

We extend our hearfelt gratitude to our Principal Ms Shalini Agarwal on behalf of the parents and students for organizing the memorable trip to Kidzania. It was a fantastic experience for the children and we appreciate your efforts in making it possible.

Educational Trip To Ranthambore For Class IX-XII

With this axiom in mind, a three-days’ long educational trip to Ranthambore was organised for the students of classes IX- XII January 2023 by Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony. 

The morning air was replete with excitement as the children trooped in the AC bus coach. After taking the blessings of the Almighty, 248 students accompanied by 24 Teacher-In-Charges and 6 mentors boarded six AC coach buses and embarked on their adventurous journey at around 6:30 am on 4 November 2023. 

Excursion To Rangmanch Farms

Santa visited on Dec 15, 2023, giving Summer Fields School’s Classes III to V a fun-filled day at Rangmanch Farms. Organized by Principal Ms. Shalini Agarwal and VP Ms. Shweta Oberoi, students enjoyed Sky Cycling, Archery, Zip line, and more. Teachers, led by Ms. Shweta Dimri, ensured safety. ‘Farm Activities’ taught teamwork and empathy, creating lasting memories for our cherubs.

Recreational Trip Of Class VI

Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony organized a class VI excursion to Rangmanch Farms on November 30, 2023. Students enjoyed various activities like Zip line, Sky Cycling, Rock Climbing, and more. Thanks to Principal Ms. Shalini Agarwal, Vice Principal Ms. Shweta Oberoi, and the Management for their support. Their guidance inspires us to achieve greater success.
