SAn Orientation Programme for parents of EWS/DG children from Grades Nursery to VIII was organized on 25th April, 2023 to get them acquainted with the curriculum and systems of the school. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamp followed by the School Anthem. Our Principal, Ms Geeta Karunakaran welcomed all the parents on behalf of the Summer Fields School Fraternity. She reiterated the importance of working together with parents so that each child can achieve his highest potential. She urged the parents to have regular conversation with their child, be supportive and stay involved as it is the most powerful key to a child’s success. She urged the parents to send their child to school regularly and also discussed the importance of attending the Parent Teacher Meeting to know the progress of their child.
Fun filled activities were organized for the parents to promote parental involvement. A Powerpoint Presentation apprised parents of how systems work in the school. We look forward to a promising and fruitful Academic Session 2023-2024.
