Van Mahotsav (Classes III-A & B)

“LET US PLANT A TREE, LET US PLANT HOPE”
The students of Classes III-A & B presented a Special Assembly on Van Mahotsav- The Festival of Trees on 31 August 2024 with the motto – Plant a tree, nurture a dream. A variety of activities flooded the stage with enthusiasm, beginning with the ‘Ganesh Vandana’ to beseech the blessings of the almighty.  Succeeding the prayer, a thought provoking speech depicting significance of forests and trees in our lives was delivered by the students, followed by heart touching and inspiring song ‘Hariyali Jeevan Ka Aadhar’, to convey the message in a more realistic and effective fashion. A mesmerizing and riveting dance drama performance on the theme ‘Save Our Flora and Fauna’ was an absolute treat for the eyes.

The students, in graceful outfits, presented the assembly. To mark the celebration, the school Principal, Ms. Shalini Agarwal planted a sapling and addressed the august gathering. She encouraged the students as well as parents to take a pledge to save environment by saving our natural resources and also to plant a tree on every special occasion and contribute their bit in maintaining the ecological balance. The audience were beaming with joy and appreciated the efforts put up by students and teachers. The event was culminated with a Vote of Thanks presented by Primary Academic Co-ordinator Ms. Shweta Dimri and the recital of the National Anthem.
