A Special Assembly themed ‘Joy of Giving’ was presented by students of Classes I-F and I-H on Ja
The students introduced the theme and shared the significance of celebrating Joy of Giving. They presented a melodious group beloved carol ‘Joy to the World. Thereafter, the children performed an act based on the birth of Lord Jesus,showcasing all important aspects of the birth and explaining the relevance of celebrating Christmas and the joy of giving and caring by decorating Christmas trees, exchanging gifts, singing and dancing to celebrate the festivity. They also celebrated the merriment by singing a beautiful song ‘Happy Birthday Jesus’ to mark and celebrate the birth of the Saviour.
This was followed by Swing, twirl and spin by the students by performing a beautiful Ball dance. Another dance performance was given by the students on the song ‘Jingle Bells’ which was also joined by our respected Principal ma’am and all the supporting teachers. This cheered up the audience and created an atmosphere of joy and cheerfulness.
Our respected Principal, Ms. Shalini Agarwal applauded the participants on their commendable performance and the way they presented themselves composedly and confidently on the stage. She also praised the teachers for their hard work and efforts on training the children. She appreciated the parents for their involvement, co-operation and time. Principal Ma’am took this opportunity to encourage and spread the message amongst the parents and students to celebrate joy of giving by spreading kindness, generosity and compassion. She alsothanked the management, teachers and parents for their continuous support. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
