The Annual Day of Summer Fields School was celebrated with remarkable enthusiasm and splendour on 4th December 2025 at Siri Fort Auditorium. This year’s theme, “Aladdin and the Cave of Wonders – Magic, Myths and Mirages,” infused the evening with imagination, colour, and a sense of adventure.
The Annual Day began on a warm and welcoming note, as the audience was greeted by a serene performance from the choir, creating an inspiring tone for the evening ahead. The traditional Lighting of the Lamp followed, symbolising the illumination of knowledge and the commencement of the celebration. The school had the privilege of hosting Mr. Himanshu Gupta, IAS, Secretary, CBSE, as the Chief Guest, whose presence elevated the occasion. The event was also graced by the benign presence of the visionary Chairman Mr. Inder Dev Gupta and Director Mr. Rahul Gupta on this grand occasion.
Our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Shalini Agarwal, extended a warm greeting to all present and set the tone for the evening with her inspiring words. The Principal presented a comprehensive overview of the school’s journey through the academic year. Highlighting the achievements of the students, the significant events conducted, and the initiatives undertaken to strengthen academic and co-scholastic excellence, she emphasised the school’s continued efforts to nurture young minds through innovation and holistic development. This annual report encapsulated the pride, purpose and progress that defined the year.
The audience was then enthralled by a powerful and rhythmic Shiv Tandav dance performance, which showcased the students’ dedication and artistic excellence. This was followed by an insightful address by the Chief Guest, who appreciated the school’s commitment to academic rigour, creativity, and value-based learning, encouraging students to embrace curiosity and self-belief.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the grand theatrical production – “Aladdin and the Cave of Wonders.” The story unfolded through captivating performances, elaborate storytelling, vibrant costumes, and breathtaking choreography. Each scene was brought alive with energy and emotion, taking the audience on a magical journey through myths and mirages. The production not only demonstrated the students’ talents but also reflected the collaborative spirit of the entire school community.
As the event drew to a close, Mrs. Shalini Agarwal addressed the gathering once again, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the students, faculty, parents and auxiliary staff for their unwavering dedication in bringing the celebration to life. The evening concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks, followed by the National Anthem, leaving the audience with a sense of pride, joy and cherished memories.
