The 8th International Maths Olympiad Award Ceremony was held on 2nd February 2025 at the NDMC Convention Centre, celebrating the achievements of young mathematical minds.
The event was graced by our honourable Principal, Mrs. Shalini Agarwal, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting by Mrs. Agarwal, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. In recognition of her outstanding efforts in promoting mathematics among students to enhance their mental skills, she was honoured with a special Guest of Honour award. Her dedication to fostering a love for mathematics has played a pivotal role in inspiring young learners.
The lamp lighting was followed by a classical dance performance by a student of Summer Fields School .The event was further enriched by a vibrant Bhangra performance by the talented students of Summer Fields School, adding a touch of cultural celebration to the occasion. The rhythmic beats and graceful movements captivated the audience, making the event even more memorable.
The IMO Foundation conducts this competition annually in schools across India and abroad . This year around 775 students from Class 1- XI of Summer Fields School participated in the IMO competition . Around 50 students qualified for the second level .
The following students received the trophy and certificate for their remarkable achievement in the second level in IMO.
