The Literary Week commenced with great enthusiasm and creativity. The week-long celebration with its plethora of activities started with the students from Class I to V participating in their own special way each day. The students showcased their language skills through various activities such as recitation, choral recitation, character talk, cover art, book review, etc. Students not only enhanced and demonstrated their language skills and creativity but also their confidence levels.

CHARACTER TALK ACTIVITY CLASS-III (04.12.2024)
As a part of Literary Week, students of Class III wholeheartedly participated in “Character Talk” which was conducted on 04 Dec, 2024. They enjoyed enacting their favorite cartoon characters like Chutki, Doraemon, Mickey, Moga, etc. Good communication holds great importance in our lives and cannot be eliminated or replaced. Succinctly, the topic Character Talk (cartoon character/animated character) was best revealed through words.
Students did a fantastic job by dressing up as their favorite character and spoke relevant lines. Their vocabulary and pronunciation were taken into account during the activity. It was mainly to impart confidence and build up their spoken skills.
COVER ART ACTIVITY CLASS-IV (04.12.2024)
Cover art activity was organized for the students of Class 4 on 04 Dec, 2024. The purpose of this activity was to encourage creativity and improve artistic skills by designing a cover for a book. They were encouraged to be creative and use their imagination to create visually appealing covers. The students also improved their skills in planning and executing an artistic project. The cover art activity was a fun and engaging way to introduce students to the world of design and illustration. It helped enhance their artistic abilities and provided an opportunity for self-expression.
BOOKS UNDER MY LENS ACTIVITY CLASS III & V (05.12.2024)
On 05 Dec, 2024, as part of the ongoing Literary Week celebrations, a special activity “Books Under My Lens” was organized for Class III and V. The highlight of this event was an engaging and insightful session where children shared their reviews of their favorite books, offering a fresh and enthusiastic perspective on the world of literature. During the session, young readers gave reviews on a variety of books, with popular titles like Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Enid Blyton, and stories by renowned author Sudha Murthy dominating the discussions. The children spoke passionately about their favorite characters, memorable scenes, and the impact these books had on their imaginations. The event was a resounding success, deepening their love for books. The reviews were not only a way to express their thoughts but also a platform to develop their critical thinking and communication skills.
