“Parents and teachers are partners in the journey of a child’s education, each playing a unique and vital role in shaping their future.” An Orientation programme for the new set of parents of Grade Nursery and Kindergarten was organised on Tuesday 26th March 2024. It aimed at acquainting them with the curriculum and ideology of the school. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a warm welcome address by the Principal. During her address, the Principal not only highlighted the achievements of the students but also provided insights into the school’s infrastructure, offering parents a comprehensive understanding of the educational environment their child would be immersed in. Emphasizing the crucial role of parental involvement in a child’s education, the Principal urged all parents to actively support and engage in their child’s educational journey. Advocating for inquiry-based learning, she also shared valuable tips on effective parenting, emphasizing the importance of fostering a love for reading through storybooks and the significance of spending quality time with their child. Following the Principal’s address, the Vice Principal took the stage to apprise the parents about the curriculum and the school ERP system. The Pre-Primary Incharge provided valuable information about the school transport, co-curricular activities, essential resources like books and uniforms and also addressed the queries raised by the parents. The parents were also taken the classroom tour, where the respective class teachers provided them with an overview of the various subjects, teaching methodologies and class activities.
