Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony successfully celebrated 76th Republic Day on 24th January, 2025 with great fervour and patriotic spirit. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag followed by the National Anthem. The Ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp amidst the chanting of shlokas truly evoked a divine ambience. Our esteemed Principal, Ms Shalini Agarwal welcomed our respected Chief Guest, Mr. Ashok Kumar, Additional DCP, Hauz Khas, honourable Chairman, Mr Inder Dev Gupta and the illustrious gathering with utmost pleasure. The inspiring address by the Principal induced patriotism and love for our nation. The distinguished presence of Ashok Kumar, Additional DCP, Hauz Khas, added an aura of prestige to the occasion.
The event exuberated with the cultural extravaganza. It was a moment of pride to witness the Instrumental presentation, English skit and Qawwali, flashing the valour of our dauntless leaders. To amplify the essence of the occasion, there was a magnificent display of mesmerizing and vibrant folk dance performance that showcased the Unity in Diversity of our motherland.
Teresa House was the proud recipient of the prestigious Lakshay Trophy, awarded to the best house on the basis of Inter-house activities and competitions. It was indeed a proud moment for the House warden, Ms.Pratibha Chauhan. A gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young students could be felt and seen.
Ayushi Raj , the school topper was felicitated with a memento for her unflinching efforts.
The programme culminated with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the Head Boy and Head Girl. The event was truly memorable and a grand success.
We are thankful to our esteemed Principal, Ms Shalini Agarwal and the Management for being the driving force behind all our endeavours and for motivating us to attend such educational sessions. Their constant guidance and encouragement inspire us to attain greater heights of success.
From struggle to endurance, hardship to accomplishment each step reflects our country’s extraordinary path. A day to remember, a day to celebrate, a day for unity. We wish a very Happy Republic Day to all of you.
