Scholar Badge Ceremony

Summer Fields School hosted the Annual Scholar Badge Ceremony on 27th July 2024 to felicitate the multitude of prodigious students who achieved excellence in academics in the session 2023-2024.This ceremony is one of the most awaited and time-tested tradition, when gleaming enthusiasm and the triumphant spirit of the young scholars can be seen and felt.
 
The Auspicious occasion was graced by the benign presence of the honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Anurag S. Daria, Joint Director of Income Tax, New Delhi and our very own, Mr. Rahul Gupta.The program was also witnessed by the profusely overjoyed parents whose hearts were filled with pride, glee and honour as they saw their children receive the coveted recognition.
Welcoming the august gathering, the school Principal, Ms. Shalini Agarwal congratulated the students and the parents and reiterated that the hardwork and toil put in by their wards has been recognized. She applauded the scholars for accomplishing their targets and further inspired them to follow the path of Commitment, Hard work, Integrity and Perseverance. She further remarked that students should grab all opportunities that come their way and apply their creativity to attain success. She concluded by the quote, “Winning does not always mean coming first, it actually means becoming better.”
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to spread the light of love and enlightenment amidst the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra. This was followed by the high-spirited Symphony- a musical extravaganza interwoven with the announcement of Scholars.
The plenitude of events included a beautiful instrumental performance, a captivating classical dance, “Nrityanjali” and a mesmerising, inspirational and enthusiastic dance presentation, “Awakening of the soul”.
The star students received certificates, ties and trophies from the Chief Guest who complemented them for their academic excellence and expressed that no dream is big or small, so each one should have a vision and believe in their potential to fulfil their dreams. He also added that there were two qualities which were needed for constant success, ‘Honesty’ and ‘Hunger’ and encouraged the students to always remember where there were in the race.
The programme was a huge success. It culminated with the vote of thanks by the Head Girl & Head Boy followed by the national anthem.
