SFSMUN’24 is an event of the students, by the students, and for the students.
Summer Fields School Model United Nations 2024 served as a perfect platform to unite fifteen schools from all over Delhi for a two day event of intense debates, deliberations, negotiations, and finding ways to peace.
The opening ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E.Mohamed Maliki, Ambassador of his Majesty King of Morocco to India who gave valuable insights into his life experiences and provided a chance to the inquisitive minds to learn and grow. H.E. Dr. Bassam Alkhatib Ambassador of Syria to India inspired the delegates and visited each of the committees as the guest of honor.
The conference featured six vibrant committees, namely, the UNGA, UNSC, UNODC, AIPPM, IAEA, and Reichstag, tackling some of the pressing global issues being faced by the world today.
While the General Assembly looked forward to an agenda related to the future, Reichstag took the delegates back in time. In a nutshell, SFSMUN’24 was an exceptional event with excellent committees, thought-provoking agendas, and a highly experienced executive board.
The tireless efforts of the Secretariat headed by Ms. Nitya Kochar and the Chef de Cabinet, Ms. Rakhi Pardeshi, who always stood by them, deserved appreciation. The entire Social Science Department headed by Dr. Purnima Mattu (HOD) left no stones unturned to make this event a great success.
A terrific triumph was marked by Summer Fields School winning the Best School Delegation, securing a total of twenty-nine awards. This incredible victory is a testament to the diligence of the Principal Ms. Shalini Agarwal, who is the guiding star of Summer Fields School, teachers, and the delegates, the future leaders.
