In this era of globalisation, it is of overriding importance to integrate International Dimension while educating the future citizens. Keeping this in mind, under the able leadership of our esteemed Principal, Dr. NeeruSuman and expert guidance of our Academic Co-ordinator Dr. Shweta Singh, Summer Fields School contested for the prestigious ‘International School Award’ by the British Council for the third time in a row. A team of 14 teachers, under the guidance of ISA Co-ordinator Ms. AmitaGulati, won the award with a 100% score of 49/49 points. Students from classes Pre-primary to Class-X were involved and they successfully collaborated with their counterparts from USA, Egypt, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Srilanka for a number of activities.
Summer Fields School has been conferred the British Council International School Award for a period of three years from 2018-2021. The award was presented at the award ceremony organised by British Council on 5th December, 2018. Dr.Shweta Singh, Academic Co-ordinator and Ms AmitaGulati, ISA Coordinator, received the award on behalf of the school.

The British Council International School Award recognizes commitment to developing the qualities of global citizenship in young people. It prepares young people in increasing their understanding of other countries and cultures and embedding international learning in the curriculum. The Award provides a platform for teachers to develop themselves professionally by adding an international dimension to their skills. It enables them to adopt the best teaching practices and standards from other countries. The ISA logo demonstrates that our school has espoused international practices in the institution and has wholeheartedly embraced progressive teaching tools being used globally. The logo can be used in all the publicity materials, stationery, certificates, websites, almanac etc.
